Halloween Themed Wedding
This Halloween Themed wedding took place at a church in Rhydfelin followed by a reception at a local sports venue. The vicar in charge of the church wedding only had two rules. The first was that nobody turned up in their ‘birthday suit’ and secondly that nobody turned up dressed as the devil. The theme was Halloween with all guests dressed in costumes from the bride and groom of Dracula to Beetle Juice.
Medieval Themed Wedding Caldicot Castle
This Medieval Themed wedding anniversary celebration took place at Caldicot Castle which is mid way between Chepstow and Newport. The happy couple and guests dressed in medieval costumes, the groom was riding a horse and his bride ‘Guinevere’ accompanied him. Medieval events such as archery etc were re-enacted and the meal was served in the banqueting hall in a manner reminiscent of the medieval era.

This Military Themed wedding at a Church in Llantrisant had a slight twist with friends of the groom escorting him to his wedding in full American GI uniforms. They arrived in a WW2 Jeep with the groom in handcuffs. The wedding encompassed this theme because the groom and friends belong to a WW2 enactment group. The wedding reception took place at St Mary’s Golf Club, Pencoed which is sadly no longer use as a wedding venue.
