Our wedding photographers have had the pleasure of photographing many wedding ceremonies at the Mansion House, situated within Stow Park Circle, approximately a five minute drive from the city centre of Newport.
The Liscombe room (where proceedings are most likely to take place) is named after the former Mayor and has plenty of capacity for up to 50 guests.
Commonly referred to as Newport registry office rather than Newport registrar office, the Mansion House in Newport is only open for wedding, civil partnerships, naming ceremonies and other official business from 10am, but during the summer, it’s not unheard of for Newport registrars to officiate up to six weddings in a day.
Following your ceremony, you will have the opportunity to make your way into the garden room, which offers some lovely opportunities for additional photographs, before making your way down the staircase, to the front door – We have taken some stunning pictures on the staircase. The lawn and the balcony make wonderful backdrops for wedding photography.
