LLechwen Hall is a delightful countryside wedding venue located in Trehafod, Mid Glamorgan approximately 12 miles from Cardiff alongside the main A470 The venue affords magnificent views of the Welsh countryside, this sought after wedding venue can comfortably host up to 300 guests. The venue was originally built during the 17th Century, the main building is now a family-run Victorian-style hotel, the hotel’s dedicated and experienced event team will guide you through every step of planning your big day. There are three gorgeous rooms at Llechwen Hall Hotel for you and your partner to consider. The largest option, the Garden Marquee, features stunning valley views, The Jail House with its unique look and architectural design, old stone walls, vaulted ceilings, rustic chandeliers and a full wraparound balcony. The Nelson Suite is a popular ceremony room giving a charming rustic farmhouse feel.
Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa is a very popular wedding venue. It is located on the outskirts of Blackwood and Maesycymmer Nestled with magnificent views of the valleys of Southeast Wales. The hotel is surrounded by 100 acres of stunning parkland. Bryn Meadows is licensed for civil ceremonies, and can accommodate parties of 20 to 300 guests. The venue offers a choice of three event suites:
Beacon Suite – The Beacons Suite is an open-plan suite with large picture windows that give spectacular views of the grounds and the mountains and valleys beyond. You’ll even be able to see out Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, in the distance. The Barn Suite can accommodate up to 50 guests.
Barn Suite – The well appointed Barn Suite is classic and modern overlooking the tenth tee with a lovely pond and fountain feature. French windows open onto a private sun patio. The Barn Suite can accommodate up to 90 guests. The Barn Suite can accommodate up to 50 guests.
The Fairway Suite – (Marquee) is separate from the main resort and can seat up to 320 guests it has a private veranda where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Maes Manor Hotel is literally a few minutes from Blackwood town on the A4048 as you travel towards Tredegar, The Hotel is situated in the heart of the Welsh Valleys and has spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The venue has beautiful gardens with over nine acres of precious woodland. The hotel is very popular for weddings and is licenced for civil wedding ceremonies. The ballroom accommodates up to 220 Guests for weddings and other events.
Llancaiach Fawr It sits overlooking the peaceful surroundings of the Rhymney Valley, within 20 acres of attractive grounds. The Manor is licenced for civil wedding ceremonies and is located in Nelson in the South Wales Valleys approximately 40 minutes from Cardiff City Centre. The grade 1 listed historic Manor was built in the mid 16th century and has been restored to its former glory. The venue is a top visitor attraction and Llancaiach Fawr is a popular location for weddings The Great Hall of the Manor provides the perfect setting for a ceremony for 50 guests. For a larger wedding the conservatory can seat 110 guests for the ceremony and has panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. Mansell Hall can accommodate up to 200 for the ceremony or 120 for an evening reception.
Shappelles Is a private venue located with easy access at The Bride in Ystrad Myanach. with its beautiful, The venue has beautiful grounds which make for some stunning wedding photographs and is licenced for civil wedding ceremonies. The function room can seat 50 to 150 family and friends for your reception and can accommodate 180 guests for an evening celebratory party, we can also get your evening off to a dream start by choreographing your first dance. Shappelles is also known as New Cottage Dance Centre and is a popular venue for Brides and Grooms who want to tie the knot.
Ridgeway Golf Club Is cheekily known as a one stop shop that provides affordable weddings set in a beautiful location, everything you need for a perfect day. The venue is situated on the Cardiff side at the bottom of Caerphilly mountain. The views over the countryside are stunning. The venue offers exceptional wedding day packages for both full day or eventing celebrations.
Ridgeway is a perfect Wedding Venue for your Special Day. The marquee adjoins the main clubhouse, and overlooks the vista of golf course. From the top of Caerphilly Mountain travelling towards Cardiff, Ridgeway is approached via a lovely drive with scenic views. The deck and terrace area provide the perfect setting to relax and enjoy your “Wedding Day” and outdoor ceremonies can also be conducted in the covered facility.
