Rhondda Cynon Taff, county borough in southern Wales. It encompasses the northwest-southeast-trending upper valleys of the Rivers Ely, Rhondda, Taff, and Cynon and the wooded hills between them. These hills increase in elevation to the north, where they form the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. Rhondda Cynon Taff lies mostly within the historic county of Glamorgan (Morgannwg), but in the north it includes a portion of the historic county of Brecknockshire.

Pontypridd Register Office Is located at The Municipal Buildings, Gelliwastad Road, Pontypridd, CF37 2DP. The Register Office is available for hire from Monday – Friday, the room holds up to 10 guests. The Evan James Suite is available for hire from Monday – Saturday and can accommodate up to 45 guests. There are no actual parking facilities at this venue however there is a large public car park to the rear of the building.
Heritage Park Hotel is a modern wedding venue at Trehafod Pontypridd, in the Mid-Glamorgan RCT area of Wales. Its beautifully designed event suites create a breath-taking backdrop for a wedding. The hotel is located just a short drive from Cardiff and Swansea making it easy for guests to travel to this venue. There is an indoor ceremony room Large windows flood the space with natural light, giving it a lovely romantic atmosphere or you can have a romantic ceremony in the open air, surrounded by trees and green lawns. At nearby Barry Sidings which doesn’t sound that exciting but is a beautiful park with a lake where some stunning photographs with reflections in the lake can be taken (see our galleries for some of these photographs).
Llechwen Hall is located approximately 12 miles from Cardiff just off the A470 the main A470. Llechwen Hall has beautiful views of the welsh countryside. This sought after wedding venue can host up to 300 guests. Llechwen Hall was built in the 17th Century and is now a family-run Victorian-style hotel. There are three lovely rooms at Llechwen Hall Hotel for you and your partner to consider for celebrating your wedding. The largest room, the Garden Marquee, has stunning valley views, The Jail House has an unique look with old stone walls, high ceilings, rustic chandeliers and a large upper balcony. The Nelson Suite is a popular ceremony room giving a more rustic farmhouse feel.
Ty Newydd Country Hotel Is situated within Brecon Beacons National Park off the A4059 near Hirwaun and Aberdare on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The grounds extend to over three acres, with magnificent views of the Beacons and Neath Valley and is a very popular venue in a beautiful area of South Wales to host a wedding. The indoor at Ty Newydd Country Hotel facilities are excellent and the grounds are ideal for beautiful wedding photographs. The hotel can accommodate up to 50 guests for an afternoon reception and up to 80 for an evening buffet. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and the picturesque gardens provide an delightful backdrop for post ceremony photoshoot.
St Lleurwg’s Church is on Station Road in the centre of Hirwaun. Built in 1858, the church features include a marble pulpit and alabaster font with stained glass windows. St Lleurwg’s is a very old church that conduct wedding ceremonies, the contact telephone number is 01685 813046.
Aberdare Park is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales and is one of only two closed road race circuits in mainland Britain. It also holds the unique position of being the first ever live outside venue to broadcast a motorsport event anywhere in Britain, when the BBC’s cameras arrived to televise the races in 1955. Aberdare Park is a public park located in the village of Trecynon, near the town of Aberdare in South Wales. The Victorian park is designated Grade II on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales, The park itself was established in 1859 and is set in nearly fifty acres of lovely grounds that are idea; for lovely wedding photographs.
The Guest Keen Club, was built in 1863 as a memorial to Sir Josiah John Guest, by Sir Charles Berry, who also designed part of the Houses of Parliament. The design was based on the Greek Parthenon and was originally being paid for by the Dowlais Workmen, at a cost of £2,200. Now a privately owned Grade II listed building, The Guest Keen Club is run by Peggy; they have been in business at the Guest Keen Club since 2007. To contact the venue ring 01685 722236
The Redhouse Merthyr Tydfil Is situated in the Old Town Hall Merthyr Tydfil, it is a Grade II listed building for arts and creative industries in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil.
